Takazumi Parafix – Pond Fish Treatment
Takazumi Parafix is a veterinary medicine formulated for the control of unicellular skin parasites and fungal infections in pond fish. It is effective against a broad range of pathogens, including:
• White spot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis)
• Costia (Ichthyobodo necatrix)
• Chilodonella
• Trichodina
• Tetrahymena
• Vorticella (Apiosoma)
• Saprolegnia
Dosage Instructions:
Use the provided measuring cup. Dissolve the required dose in a bucket or watering can with a generous amount of pond water, then distribute evenly over the pond surface.
• Day 1: 15 ml per 1000 litres of pond water
• Day 2: Change 10–20% of the pond water
• Day 3: 15 ml per 1000 litres
• Day 4: Change 10–20% of the water
• Day 5: 15 ml per 1000 litres
• Day 6: Change 25% of the water
Important Notes:
• Dose accurately – underdosing may be ineffective; overdosing may harm or kill fish.
• Do not use at water temperatures below 12 °C.

• Malachite Green Oxalate 3.7 g/L
• Methylene Blue 3.7 g/L
