The Seachem Tidal™ Filter is an innovative hang-on-back (backpack) filter designed to deliver powerful, comprehensive filtration for both freshwater and marine aquariums. A dual water intake system provides effective filtration at multiple levels, including automatic surface skimming to remove films and floating debris. The self-priming pump allows the filter to restart automatically after power interruptions or maintenance—no manual filling required.
The flow rate and intake can be fully adjusted to match your aquarium’s needs. A self-cleaning impeller ensures reliable, quiet operation, while a maintenance indicator alerts you when cleaning is needed. The large internal media basket is compatible with any type of filter media and can be placed on the lid during servicing to prevent spills. Each unit includes Seachem Matrix™ for biological filtration and a foam filter for mechanical filtration.
